Hi There! I’m Clare, Myotherapist and owner of Unwind.  2017 marks my twelfth year of work as a Myotherapist and practice owner at Unwind.  I founded Unwind because I love learning about how the human body works in a job where I can help people at the same time.

In my experience, I have seen time and time again the connections between overall wellness, self-care and muscular pain. I have seen the way that our bodies’ innate healing mechanisms kick into gear when we provide the right environment for them to do so in. This interest in Wellness has developed into a real passion, and I write the blog on this site to share what I learn with others.

When I’m not at work, I can be found working in my veggie garden with my husband James, our rescue greyhound Kimmy, and chooks Benedict, Florentine, and Penny.

Candice completed her Myotherapy Degree in 2007.  Candice joined us for a work placement in her final year of study, and we were over the moon to have her back as part of our team again in 2013.

Candice hails from North-West Victoria. Since completing her studies, she has worked as a Myotherapist both in private practice and the hospital system. She also had a two year stint living in London, travelling Europe along the way.

Candice’s clients love her treatment style of focussing on specific trigger points.

Candice enjoys helping clients with a wide range of conditions, particularly headaches, chronic conditions and pregnancy massage.  She has also recently enjoyed some extra study in the area of lower limb biomechanics.

When Candice isn’t at work she can be found planning her next trip to explore the world.

Johannah is an excellent practitioner and we are thrilled to have her on board. She enjoys helping people with a range of conditions; from day-to- day complaints such as headaches, poor posture and strength imbalances, to more specific injuries, neurological symptoms, and rehabilitation.
